Providence Health & Services Athletic Trainer in Vancouver, Washington


Providence is calling a Athletic Trainer (1.0 FTE, Days) to Providence Camas Rehab in Vancouver, WA.

In this position, you will:

  • Provide athletic training coverage/support for sport team/school assignment(s) as directed by the Clinical Supervisor for Rehab Services or Sports Medicine.

  • Provide and assist in the coordination of activities that include injury prevention, immediate assessment/evaluation/treatment of injuries and appropriate triage of injuries.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in health related field

  • Current Athletic Trainer registration through State of Oregon

  • Board of Certification of athletic trainer’s membership (BOC)

  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA-BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification -or- American Red Cross CPR/AED for Medical Professionals within 30 days of hire

  • Must be able to travel between sites in a timely manner as assigned

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • 2 years of experience working in school/college environment as an athletic trainer
